Kurosawa Ruby is one of the nine
main characters in Love Live! Sunshine!!. She is a first-year in Uranohoshi Girls’ High School and a member of CYaRon!, a sub-unit under Aqours, along
with Chika and You.
Biography
Ruby’s birthday is September 21st, it’s
mean her zodiac sign is Virgo. Her blood type is “A”, it’s same with Riko and
Dia. Her height is 154 cm and her measurements are bust 76, waist 56 and hip 79.
Her favorite food is French fries and sweet potatoes and she doesn’t like wasabi.
The voice actress from Ruby is Furihata Ai. She only became the voice actress
for Ruby in her career. While the English voice actress is Sarah Wiedenheft who
have the same voice with Shihoru from Hai to Gensou no Grimgar and Tooru from
Kobayashi-san Chi no Maid Dragon.
Background
Since she was young, Ruby loves and
becomes a fan of various idol groups. But because her parents are pretty
strict, Ruby can only watch news from television. This thing make her difficult
to be a fan of idols.
Ruby has an older sister who share the same interest like her, Dia. She is also a big fan of idol groups. Because of her presence, Ruby can talk a lot about idols with her sister and it’s make her happy. Beside it, Ruby became Hanamaru’s best friend after meet her.

Personality
Ruby is a very shy girl. Her personality makes it harder for her to get along with other people. She has never talked to any males besides her father before, so she has always been bad at dealing with the male gender. She is a bit capable of speech, which gives her the opportunity to try and get along.
From a different perspective, Ruby is adaptable and mostly admired by her friends. Despite not being confident and providential, her felicific manner is everything it takes to make her a perfect person. She often says her catchphrase “Ganbaruby”. “Ganbaruby” itself is a combination from “Ganbaru” and “Ruby”, which means “Do your best” and her own name. She says it to encourage herself or others to do their best.

Ruby’s hobbies are needlework and clothing. Her talent is in coordinating outfits. Because of this, she became Aqours’s wardrobe supervisor, alongside You. In the off-day, this is her schedule.
