Story
Kono Subarashii Sekai ni Shukufuku wo! The story from this anime
is telling us about Satou Kazuma who have a new life in a real-life RPG world. He will
bring us to his adventure and show to you what he do everyday there. Of course,
in this world Kazuma not alone, he have 3 another party members who can make
the story become more Interesting.
The main
plot from this anime is how Kazuma can defeat the Demon Lord? But after watch
all episodes, we will just get a little development to the main plot itself and
you will feel more or less the episodes is episodic. Even so, I have to say every events that have happened here are always creative. Why I
say creative? The settings might be same like Sword Art Online or Log Horizon
but you have to remember this anime is not just it, they blows my expectations
away with its comedic atmosphere, likable characters, and hilariousness of
situations they end up with. Beside
it, how they create every events it’s really unique. From the beginning until
ending in one episode, they can make us enjoy to watch it. All elements like characters, quest, enemy, skill.
It’s all very helpful in establishing the course of the story.
Overall I
like their story, although not really focus to the plot but I can enjoy it, so
I will give 8 for story.
Character
Character, I think this is the point
where the creator can make every events become enjoyable. We will meet 4 main
characters. Kazuma, Aqua, Megumin & Darkness. Every one of them have
special things that can entertain us. Like Aqua as useless Goddess and full of potential clumsy character,
Megumin with her chuunibyou, she only can use great magic once per day,
Darkness as a Masochist Crusader, she can’t touch or hit enemy with her attack
and Kazuma as normal person make the party become complete.
To be honest this is really unique, if
before it we always find serious party in RPG theme anime. This anime make all
of them hilarious and the effect of it, they become lovable characters in this
season. No wonder why the creator can make funny story with this characters.
Anyway, some
characters remind me to another characters, Like Aqua will remind us to Hestia because both of them are goddess
from RPG Anime, then Megumin will remind us to Takanashi Rika because her
blindfold and she have chuunibyou attitude too and Darkness, maybe she is a
little remind us to Saber from Fate Series.
However, my favourite character from this anime
is Aqua, from character design, her beauty, her unique character, everything
she have, I love her. I think she can become my favourite character from so
many anime.
Well, I think it’s
all from character point, so I will give 9 for it.
Animation
The studio that producing this anime is Studio Deen… Studio
Deen itself has been produced a couple of popular anime like Log Horizon,
Nurarihyon no Mago, Kore wa Zombie Desu ka? And others.
Well, the art is not something that really amazing from this anime
but I think their art has much to be desired. Studio Deen's art and animation
surprisingly fit with this type of show. In my opinion it greatly adds to the
humour of the story and it goes well. The character designs look great too, the
main & supporting characters have fitting designs for their characteristics.
I just imagine, how if Kyoto Animation try to make KonoSuba, maybe we will be falling
in love to all characters from this anime because their design.
After
all, the animation good enough for me, so I will give 7 for animation.
Sound
The opening song from this anime is "fantastic
dreamer" by Machico and the ending is "Chiisana
Boukensha" by Amamiya Sora as seiyuu from Aqua, Takahashi Rie as seiyuu
from Megumin & Kayano Ai as seiyuu from Darkness.
Okay, the opening & ending are good, but I think it’s
not really special if we compare it to all opening & ending anime from this
season. Even so, I think they’re fit the mood of the show well. For another sound
aspect like background music and seiyuu, to be honest it’s really great. We
will remember so many soundtrack from them, they create the atmosphere and
soundtrack become memorable & their seiyuu too. I love them all, they can
make all characters more lively. So I will give 8 for sound.
Enjoyment
Enjoyment, I have to say this show is the best comedy anime of Winter 2016
and I think they have a big potential to become the best comedy anime of 2016
because every episode is bound to get some laughs out of you one way or another,
beside it this anime become favourite from so many people in this season.
Well,
this is just my prediction, I’m not really know because we will see what comedy
anime that will out next. Overall, I’m enjoying this anime into the fullest. So
I will give 10 from enjoyment.
Counting
the scores from the story, characters, animation, sound, and my own personal
enjoyment. Overall I will give 8.5 for KonoSuba. If you’re asking me
are they need the 2nd season? I have to say, I really waiting for
it. I love their show, their comedy is what we need for every season,
Especially Aqua, I love her so much.
After all, If you need recommendation anime with same genre like
KonoSuba, my recommendation is Senyuu. This is short anime, but you will feel
same aspect from this anime
Both of them are comedy series anime, then the parodies taking place in RPG-like fantasy worlds too, and of course they have so many hilarious characters that can make story
become more funny!
Visually both of
them are creative and enjoyable to watch.
