Ochaco is
one of the main characters in Boku no Hero Academia. She
is a student in U.A. High School and has
codename “Uravity”.
Biography
Ochaco’s birthday is December 27th, it’s mean her zodiac sign is Capricorn. Her blood type is “B”, it’s same with Tsuyu. Her height is 156 cm and her favorite things are
mochi and starry sky. The voice actress
from Ochaco is Sakura Ayane. She is also became
the voice actress for Nao from Charlotte, Iroha
from Oregairu, Alisa from Love Live!, Haru from Nisekoi and Natsumi from Non Non
Biyori. While the English voice
actress is Luci Christian who have the same voice with Hestia
from Danmachi, Nagisa from Clannad, Himeko
from Kokoro Connect and Chidori from Full Metal Panic!.
Background
Ochaco’s Quirk
is Zero Gravity. Her Quirk gives her
the power to manipulate gravity, such as making objects weightless or making objects
float upon touching them, although she will become nauseous if she uses the ability too much.
Since she was young, Ochaco loves and cares for her parents very deeply.
Ochaco’s parents own a construction business, but none of them have the Quirks
compatible for the job, which caused them to have economic problems for years.
As a result, Ochaco
determined to become a hero against all odds. She is motivated primarily by the
money because she wants to give her parents a comfortable life.Personality
Ochaco
is a bubbly, lively person who thinks about
everything positively. She is very harmonic and empathetic in general, friendly to the people she meets, and will also try to help or defend anyone that
previously came to her aid, especially to her friends.
When
it comes to her chosen path as a hero, Ochaco is unwavering, even in the face
of overwhelming force. Her parents are her main driving force into becoming a
professional hero.

- Uraraka Ochaco’s name is a combination from Uraraka (麗日) meaning “beautiful day” and Ochaco (お茶子) meaning “tea and child”.
- Ochaco ranked 4th in the first popularity poll, then she ranked 10th in the second popularity poll and she ranked 9th in the third popularity poll.
- On the official manga website, Ochaco’s name is spelled Ochako with “k”. While in the anime website, it is spelled Ochaco with “c”.
- In the early designs concept for Ochaco,
Ochaco has a little difference in her hero costume, although the overall
character still looks the same.
