Bakugou Katsuki is
one of the main characters in Boku
no Hero Academia. He is a
student in U.A. High School and has codename “Ground Zero”.
Biography
Katsuki’s birthday is April 20th, it’s mean his zodiac
sign is Taurus. His blood type is “A”, it’s
same with Tenya and Momo. His height is 172 cm and his favorite things are spicy food and
mountain climbing. The voice actor from Katsuki is Okamoto
Nobuhiko. He is also became the voice actor for Rin from Ao no Exorcist, Karma from Ansatsu Kyoushitsu,
Ryou from Shokugeki no Souma, Takumi from Kaichou wa Maid-sama! and Accelerator
from Toaru series. While the English
voice actor is Clifford
Chapin who have the same voice
with Connie from Shingeki no Kyojin, Moroha
from Seiken Tsukai no World Break and Ranta from Hai to Gensou no Grimgar.
Background
Katsuki is a very crude, violent, arrogant and aggressive person. His
personality reflects his fighting style, mercilessly assaulting the
opponent and destroying them with his power. Katsuki is also immensely prideful. Because
of his pride, Katsuki believe if he can do whatever he is assigned on his own.
But
even so, his
positive side is seen from his confidence. He likes to fight and never give up. He is
also quite talented in
fighting, being capable of strategic planning and hates
with defeat.

- Bakugou Katsuki’s name is a combination from Bakugou (爆豪) meaning “a bomb” and Katsuki (勝己) meaning “my own wins”.
- Katsuki ranked
3rd in the first popularity poll, then he ranked 1st in the second popularity
poll and he ranked 1st again in the third popularity poll.
- With his birthday taking place in April 20th, Katsuki is the oldest student in Class 1-A.
- In the early designs concept for Katsuki, Katsuki was supposed to be a natural born genius, a very kind and gentle character who spoke without thinking and unintentionally insulted others. However, the author found this original draft to be boring and decided to make him an unpleasant character instead.
Bakugou is my favorite character in the entire anime, I can really relate to his rage and anger, I mean I also really like Todoroki, Deku, and Kirishima, but Bakugou in my opinion is just the best, and I didn't know his hero name was Ground Zero till I read this so that was really helpful, also everything on here has all the info I need for this thing i'm doing in ElA, we are researching things we like and stuff and we are presenting them, one of the categories was Hero, so I decided to do bakugou, and I just loved your blog post I think it's amazing.
