Todoroki Shouto is
one of the main characters in Boku
no Hero Academia. He is a student in U.A. High School and has codename “Shouto”.
Biography
Shouto’s birthday is January
11th, it’s mean his zodiac
sign is Capricorn. His blood type is “O”, it’s same with Izuku and Eijirou. His height is 176 cm and his favorite thing is zaru soba. The voice actor from Shouto is Kaji
Yuki. He is also became the voice actor for Eren from Shingeki no Kyojin, Shuu from Guilty Crown,
Alibaba from Magi, Meliodas from Nanatsu no Taizai and Issei from High School
DxD. While the English voice
actor is David
Matranga who have the same voice
with Bertolt from Shingeki no Kyojin, Tomoya
from Clannad, Takumi from Kaichou wa Maid-sama! and Hideki from Angel
Beats!.
Background
Shouto’s Quirk
is Half-Cold Half-Hot. His Quirk gives him the ability to manipulate both fire and ice elements, divided between his left and right sides, respectively.
When he was young, Shouto has
undergone training from his father because of his father’s ambition to make Shouto
surpass All Might. However, the training was too harsh and forced Shouto to cry
and vomit. Because of this, Shouto’s mother always try to defend him, but his
father refused to listen and would even hit her in front of Shouto. During
these dark times, Shouto’s mother always be there to support Shouto.
Day by day passed, Shouto’s
mother eventually broke down from all the domestic abuse and she finding it
painful to look at Shouto’s left side because it reminded her of his father.
After all, his mother threw boiling water over the Shouto’s face, giving him a
burn over his left eye.
After this incident, Shouto’s
father sent his mother to the hospital for hurting him. Then Shouto blamed his
father, saying that everything that happened was his fault.Personality
Shouto has a cold and
aloof personality which stems from his harsh upbringing.
Because of this personality, Shouto often keeps a distance with the people
around him. But after his battle with Izuku in U.A. Sports Festival, he starts
to notice something and has become noticeably more
sociable, even gaining a sense of humor and occasionally smiling.

- Todoroki Shouto’s name is a combination from Todoroki (轟) meaning “roaring” and Shouto (焦凍) meaning “burning and freezing”.
- Shouto ranked 2nd in the first popularity poll, then he ranked
3rd in the second popularity poll and he ranked 3rd again in the third
popularity poll.
- Shouto has two different eye colors. This is also known as Heterochromia.
